Online Summer Camps

Yes…you read that right…”online” summer camps!! Summer is that one season we all want to spend outside of our homes and I never imagined I’d be looking for online summer camps!! But here we are… so let’s take a deep breath and embrace it! Below is a list of camps that are offering online options for the summer. We will keep adding more to the list so keep checking back. If you know of some not in the list please do let us know!

General

  1. CAMP EDMO is offering both half and full day camps for PreK — 8th grade kids.
  2. OutSchool has a lot of options for online summer camps for kids (starting at age 3). There is a lot of variety to choose from — fashion, math, travel, art, improv, science to card games …..
  3. YMCA of Silicon Valley online summer camps.
  4. Camp Captivate is offering half-day virtual camps for kids ages 5–13. They are combining live virtual learning with hands-on engagement through thoughtfully curated education kits.
  5. Virtual summer classes by City of Cupertino.
  6. Little Passports can ship a summer camp activity kit right to your home. Something worth exploring for the younger kiddos.
  7. Kidz To Pros has a bunch of online summer camps for kids 5+.
  8. KiwiCo has some summer camp schedule lined up for kids ages 3+. The activities can be (optionally) paired up with their activity boxes (KiwiCrates).
  9. Camp Keff is offering Keff@Home summer camps to preschoolers and grades K-6. Each week has a special theme, along with a super-cool Keff in a Box kit (ready for you a week before your program begins). Movement, art, cooking, dress-up days, team building, creativity, and social and emotional learning happens weekly.
  10. Camp Quarankids is offering online summer camps for K-6th grade kids. Enrichment includes: math, reading/writing, arts and crafts, athletics, gaming, and more! 
  11. Camp Imagineerz  is offering online summer camps for K-5th grade students. Their goal is to help children develop a growth mindset as they engage in Makerspace challenges using design thinking.

Dramatics/Dance

  1. Bay Area Shakespeare Camps is offering online dramatics camps for kids ages 7–13.
  2. Children’s Theatre is offering a virtual summer academy for kids ages 4+.
  3. Bayer Ballet is offering virtual dance camps for kids ages 5-9.

Arts/Culture/Language

  1. Art School of SF Bay is offering online art camps for kids 6–10 years old.
  2. Community School of Music & Arts (CSMA) online summer camps for kids ages 5–17
  3. MansiMakes is offering some unique online art courses like gel painting/monoprinting for kids ages 3+.
  4. Culture Journeys  is offering online camps for kids ages 6-11. Through creative play such as dance, music and theater, campers will learn about cultural sensitivity and global connectedness.
  5. Panda Tree is offering Spanish and Chinese language online camps for kids ages 2+.

Academic/Curriculum based

  1. Math Enrichment is offering virtual summer camps for K-8th grade.
  2. Mill Creek Academy is offering English, Math, Science, Public Speaking, and Foreign Language summer school for Grades 3–12.
  3. Valley Parent Preschool is offering online summer classrooms geared towards 3–6 year olds.
  4. Kappy Academy is offering small group lessons for  kids ages 6-11. Classes currently planned are Ancient History (Egyptians etc) and Early Modern History (Explorers, Settlers), Science (exact topics based on student interest but probably biology related) and Geography (All the major continents, map skills).

Technology/Lego/Robotics

  1. iDTech is offering coding/robotics/game dev/creative online camps for ages 7–19.
  2. Snapology of Los Gatos is offering lego based online summer camps for kids ages 5–12.
  3. Create and Learn is offering online coding/AI/web development classes for kids ages 7+. Created by Former Tech Leaders at Google & Apple, and Stanford/Harvard Graduates.
  4. BitsyBytesy is offering online python courses for ages 12 and up.

Sports

  1. National Academy of Athletics is offering virtual sports camps for ages 5–18!

Chess

  1. Bay Area Chess has a whole bunch of online summer camps if your kids are into/want to get into chess.
